The cost for counselling is $105 per 50 minute session – about the same cost as a skilled tradesperson or hairstylist might charge and there is no commitment to how many sessions you need to attend. If you find counselling helpful you can continue for however long you feel it is necessary. If you find that it isn’t helpful or that you feel ready to continue on your own, you can stop at any time.
Payments can be easily and conveniently made by cash, debit, credit card. Most clients will notice significant improvements in less than 5 sessions. In general, it will likely cost less than having your brakes replaced on your car and you can control and budget the cost by choosing to stop at any time or spreading your sessions out over a longer time period.
Did you know that many people have coverage for counselling costs through their workplace? See your HR department for details.
I work directly with all of the reputable EAP (Employee Assistance Plans) in Canada and you can ask to see me directly. This allows me to work directly with most of the major employers in North Bay such as CFB North Bay, North Bay Regional Health Centre, City of North Bay, Nipissing University, and many, many more.
Counselling is an important and personal process and YOU should have the right to choose who you wish to see just as you have the right to choose your doctor, dentist, or chiropractor. Call me directly or let your HR department know if your EAP has limitations on who they will allow you to see.
In addition, counselling costs can also be covered through Victim Services if you are a victim of a crime.
